Fantastic show in small intimate theatre. Very close to stage & excellent acoustics. Small cafe/bar providing indoor & outdoor seating in a small courtyard under a lovely old tree.
Parking available in area & public transport too.
Great little theatre and perfect for plays. The only downside is the outside undercover area. It can get very hot when crowded before a show. Overhead fans would help.
Excellent productions put on by Queensland Theatre Company. However, I will be glad when the new venue opens at QPAC.
The theatre only has one bar/restaurant, few toilets, very little seating space before the doors are open and poor accessibility.

Great little Theatre plenty of space in the seats and leg room.. I would say better than upper seating at qpac even. This photo is from the very back as you can see good view no matter where you sit and this wasn't zoomed in at all. Sound is amazing too this spot in the show we watched was like we it was at a pop concert it was an amazing experience.
The theatre is a beautifully designed, intimate space. The area outside is relaxed and very Brisbane, with seating under the big tree or in one of the undercover areas. Perfect place for bubbles before the show or a debrief afterwards.
This is a wonderful theatre. The plays can be really surprising. First Casuality is currently on (November 2022). Get there if you possibly can. It is a brilliantl production that deserves a full theatre every night.
beautiful intimate theatre. ushers and service staff are lovely people. first time seeing a live show post-covid. such an enjoyable experience and truly recommend checking out “As You Like It” if you get a chance.
I've only managed to get here a few times over the years, but it's always a great experience. It's a small venue, in a way that feels intimate and exclusive. That is to say, it's a good thing.
We got in early and had a bite to eat. The food is limited to hot box and packaged food, it was tasty enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful
